This beer is modeled after a traditional Trappist ale. It has a nice malty backbone enhanced with Belgian candi sugar, and balanced with Hallertau and Kent Golding hops. When you see the dark amber color of this beer you might be tempted by the darkside. But if you stretch out with your feelings and trust your instincts the force behind the 8% ABV of this beer will make you feel like you could take on the whole empire by yourself, just like Dak!
